Installation Procedure

  1. Install the defrost actuator (3).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the defrost actuator bolts/screws (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.2 N.m (11 lb in).

  3. Connect the defrost actuator electrical connector (2).
  4. Install the driver side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster, Insulator, Molding Replacement - Instrument Panel in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Re-calibrate the actuators. Refer to Re-Calibrating Actuators .
