Installation Procedure

Install the front park brake cable to the vehicle.

Install the park brake cable to the park brake lever.

Install the park brake cable end to the park brake lever clevis.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Install the park brake cable to the park brake cable retainers.

Install the park brake cable end to the park brake cable connector.

Adjust the park brake cable equalizer. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
Lower the vehicle.
Fold the carpet back in place.
Install the left-side carpet retainer. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door) or Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) in Interior Trim.
Install the left-side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Knee Bolster, Insulator, Molding Replacement - Instrument Panel in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
