Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle, if necessary. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (L26)  or Power Steering Pump Replacement (LY7)  or Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS4) .

    IMPORTANT: Protect the drive shaft with the shim stock.
  2. Use a small chisel in order to remove the seal.

    Discard the seal.
