3	Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch. Connect a fused jumper wire between the rear compartment lid ajar switch signal circuit and a good ground. Does the trunk ajar indicator illuminate?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 5
4	Connect a fused jumper between the rear compartment lid ajar switch signal circuit and the rear compartment lid ajar switch ground circuit. Does the trunk ajar indicator illuminate?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 6
