Connector End View Reference:  Wiper/Washer System Connector End Views  
1 Did you perform the Wiper/Washer Diagnostic System Check? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Wiper/Washer

  1. Turn the ignition ON.
  2. Attempt to operate the Wipers in the High mode.
Use a scan tool to retrieve any Wiper system DTC's from the BCM.Did any of the following DTC's set?
  • B3873
  • B3874
  • B3875
  • B3922
 Go to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List  Go to Step 3 
3 Turn the wiper switch to the High speed position.
Do the windshield wipers operate at high speed?		 Go to Step 4  Go to Wipers Inoperative - All Modes

  1. Turn the wiper switch to the Low speed position.
  2. Wait 5 seconds.
Do the windshield wipers operate at low speed after 5 seconds?		 Go to Step 5  Go to Wipers Inoperative - All Modes 
5 Turn the wiper switch through each Delay position.
Do the windshield wipers operate correctly in each delay position?		 Go to Step 6  Go to DTC B3922 
6 Turn the wiper switch to the Mist position.
Do the windshield wipers operate at low speed?		 Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to DTC B3922
