Park, License, and Tail Lamps Always On

1	Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?	Go to Step 2	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems
2	Turn OFF the ignition. Turn the headlamp switch to the OFF position. Do the park lamps operate properly?	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3
3	Disconnect the multifunction turn signal switch. Are the park lamps illuminated?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 10
4	Inspect for a short to ground in the park lamp ON signal circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 12	Go to Step 5
5	Remove the park lamp relay. Do the park lamps turn OFF?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 9
6	Reconnect the multifunction turn signal switch. Turn the headlamp switch to the OFF position. Using a test lamp connected to battery positive voltage, probe the park lamp relay control circuit at the I/P fuse block. Does the test lamp illuminate?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 8
7	Test for a short to ground in the park lamp relay control circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 12	Go to Step 11
8	Replace the park lamp relay. Refer to Relay Replacement (Within an Electrical Center) or Relay Replacement (Attached to Wire Harness) in Wiring Systems. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 12	-
9	Repair a short to battery positive voltage in the park lamp voltage supply circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 12	-
10	Replace the multifunction turn signal switch. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal Switch Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column. Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 12	-
