Removing the switch for tailgate release
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SOUND INSULATION ON THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release the detents (2) and remove the switch (3) from the front door trim panel.
