Description of the manual Li parameter setting for DEUTRONIC DBL800/1200/1600
This description refers to the following chargers:

- Step 1: Initial situation
Before intervention in the parameter setting, the device must be disconnected from the battery or the vehicle. In addition the charging procedure on the device must be canceled by pressing the stop button. as otherwise the parameter may be changed. Hence the operating condition READY and the menu item START must be displayed in the display.
- Step 2: Access to device configuration
The device configuration is carried out in sub item MENU. Selection is done with the arrow buttons and selection by pressing the ENTER button.
Activated key lock:
- If a key lock is activated on the device, it appears in the display.
- By pressing the ENTER button the input text box is activated. The code can be entered with the arrow buttons and confirmed with the ENTER button. The factory adjusted code is '0123'.
- If the code does not work, it has been previously changed by a user in the device menu. In this case please contact the responsible person on location.
The parametrization of the individual operating modes is done in the respective submenus. Here please select the CHARGE MENU.
- Step 3: Device configuration
In the CHARGE MENU the current parameter setting for the charging mode is displayed. By marking the relevant parameter using the arrow buttons and selecting via ENTER button, the values can be changed.
The following parameters must be adjusted for a lithium ion battery:
- Charging voltage U = 14.0 V
- Maintenance charging voltage Uehl = 13.6 V
The BACK button is used to quit the menu and come back to the standard display. The charger is now ready for use on lithium ion batteries.
