Installing the system battery

• Insert the system battery (5) in direction of arrow.
• Install the battery carrier (4).
• Tighten down screw (3).
• Position the battery roll-over bar (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).

• Insert the vent hose (1) into the opening on the system battery.

Check the vent holes of the battery

Check 

• Check if the ventilation opening (1) is correctly closed with a dummy plug.

Result 

» No dummy plug.

Measure

• Close the vent hole (1) correctly with a dummy plug.

Check 

• Check whether the vent hose (3) is correctly connected to the ventilation opening (2).

Result 

» The vent hose (3) is not correctly connected.

Measure

• Connect the vent hose (3) correctly to the ventilation opening (2).

Check 

• Check if the vent hose (3) is laid with a slope towards the outside (no siphon formation). 

Result 

» The vent hose (3) is not routed correctly as shown on the right side.

Measure

• Route the vent hose (3) correctly as shown in the center.

• Position the positive battery cable (3) on the positive battery terminal.
• Tighten nut (2).
• Close the positive terminal cover (1).

Check 

• Check guides (1) and the detent (3) on the protective cap (2) for damage.

Result 

» Guides (1) or detents (3) are damaged.

Measure

• Replace protective cap (2).

• Insert the guides (3) of the protective cap (1) into the associated openings on the positive battery terminal.
• Clip the protective cap (1) with the detent (2).
