Flushing and bleeding the front axle brake circuit

• Start flushing at the right front  .
• Connect the air bleeder hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on front right brake caliper.
• Open the bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
• Close bleed valve (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Bleed valve
  	tightening torque	10 Nm

Follow-up work 

• Refer to DISCONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE REAR LEFT .
• Refer to PERFORM THE CBS RESET .
• Refer to IF INSTALLED: CHECKING THE GAS PRESSURE SPRINGS FOR HOOD (ONLY FOR VERSIONS WITH ACTIVE PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION (SA8TF)) .
