Flush and vent the rear axle brake circuit

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to CONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
NOTE:
Description is for right component only. The procedure on the left side is identical.
- Begin with the flushing at the right rear .
- Connect the vent hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on rear right brake caliper.
- Open the bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
- Close bleed valve.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Bleed valve of the rear brake caliper, made of aluminum and not painted Bleed valve tightening torque 10 Nm TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONBleed valve of the rear brake caliper, made of steel and always painted Bleed valve tightening torque 17 Nm - Carry out the same procedure on the rear left wheel brake.
