Fastening the rear shock absorber to the camber control arm

- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
- Make sure that the vehicle does not lift off the mounting plates on the vehicle lift.
- Position special tool 2 219 012
with special tools 2 411 683
and 2 305 379
under wheel carrier (1).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Tighten the screw connection in the normal position. - Lift the wheel carrier slightly using special tool 2 219 012
. When doing so, position the shock absorber on the camber control arm.
Do not press against the spring force of the coil spring.
- Replace the nut (1) and the screw (2).
Parts: Nut, bolt
- Insert the screw (2).
- Tighten the nut (1) hand-tight.
The screw connection is tightened with the torque wrench later in the normal position.
- Disconnect the special tool 2 219 012
and set it aside.NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the specified component(s) is/are installed.
- Attach all the cables to holder (2).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
