Removing the iDrive Controller

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OPERATING FACILITY IN THE CENTER CONSOLE .
- Loosen screws (1).
- Release the latch mechanisms (arrows).
- Remove the iDrive Controller (2) from the control unit (3).
