Installing the steering gear bellows

Grease the electromechanical steering gear and the tie rod in areas (1) and (2)

CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Lubricating grease FB-1

100 g, Tube

83 23 2 208 093

Check bellows (2) for damage and, if necessary, renew them.
Push up the bellows (2) and position.
Fasten the clip (1).

Renew the ear hose clamp (1).
Parts: Ear hose clamp
Position the ear hose clamp (1).
Attach the hook fastener of the ear hose clamp (1) and press together the ear hose clamp (1) using special tool 0 494 152 (32 1 260) .
