Installing the sealing sleeve for the transmission housing

Make sure that the lug (1) of the sealing sleeve is not damaged during re-installation.

Replace the sealing rings (1) of the sealing sleeves during re-installation.

Lightly place the sealing sleeve (1) in arrow direction with the lug in the inner surface.
Turn the sealing sleeve (1) until the lug is inserted in the groove of the transmission.
Slide in sealing sleeve (1) up to the stop.
The lug on the sealing sleeve (1) must not be damaged!
Remove the special tool 0 494 213 (24 2 390) .

Lock the slide (2).
Position and tighten the screw (1).
Replace screw.

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Mechatronics to transmission
M6x59, M6x20 Replace screws.	tightening torque	8 Nm

Slide connector (1) in the arrow direction and lock it by turning it.
