Preparing New Part

- Mark new luggage compartment floor in accordance with severance cut on vehicle + 20 mm extra material and cut.
- Slightly bend the flange surfaces (1) towards the inside.
- Adjust new part in conjunction with tail panel and secure.
- In area (1), make 10 holes of Ø 4.2 mm for blind rivets.
- In area (1), make 4 bores of 4.2 mm for blind rivets.
- Remove new part and deburr holes.
- Prepare bonding surfaces.
Preparing the steel surface (used part and new part) for non-structural bonding
- Do not sand the bonding surface.
- Do not sand the bonding surface down to the bare metal.
- Remove coarse contamination from the bonding surfaces using cleaning agent R2.CONSUMABLE DESCRIPTION

Replacing the coarse thread bolt and threaded weld bolts (steel surface)
NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Renew the coarse thread bolt (1) and the threaded weld bolt (2).
Parts: Coarse thread bolt, threaded weld bolt
Take the number and position from the component to be replaced or the add-ons.
- Weld the coarse thread bolt (1) and threaded weld bolt (2) onto the new part.
