Remove the tail light on the side panel

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .

Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .

Protect the body in area (1) with adhesive tape.

Unclip the water guide (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) .

Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
Release the nut (2) on the inside of the trunk.

Release the nuts (1) on the tail light (2).
Remove the tail light (2) in the direction of the arrow.
