- Any work must exclusively be carried out with an exhaust system that has cooled down.

- After completion of repair work, check the transmission oil level in the rear axle differential.
- Use only the approved final drive transmission oil.

Only liquid sealing compound may be used!
To avoid the rear differential fluid from foaming over, ensure that no residual liquid sealing compounds enter into the housing of the rear axle differential.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE CAMBER CONTROL ARM ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR DIFFUSER .
- Removing the undershield on the left fuel tank.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Remove the undershield (1) at the fuel tank on the left.
- Refer to REMOVING UNDERSHIELD ON THE FUEL TANK ON THE RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING REINFORCEMENT STRUT .
- Removing rear tunnel connecting support.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Removing rear tunnel connecting support(3).

- Loosen screws (2) .
- Removing the servomotor (1) .
