Checking engine oil pressure

Preliminary work

Preparing the oil pressure check.

Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Pull the oil filter element (3) out of the oil filter housing (1).
Observe the installation position (3) when inserting the oil filter element (3) into the special tool 2 209 377 (11 7 4470) (1).
Coat the sealing ring (2) with engine oil.
The oil filter element (3) must engage audibly.

Installing the oil filter with the adapter

Position the special tool (adapter) 2 209 377 (11 7 470) with the oil filter and screw it in a few threads by hand.

Tighten the special tool 2 209 377 (11 7 470) with the special tool 2 455 965 (1) .

TIGHTENING TORQUES

	Release oil filter housing / special tool	180°
	tightening torque	40Nm

Release and remove the oil drain plug (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES

Screw in the special tool 0 496 820 (11 7 430) (1) in the special tool 2 209 377 (11 7 470) and tighten.

Screw the special tool 0 496 623 (11 4 310) (2) into the special tool 0 496 820 (11 7 430) (1) and tighten.

TIGHTENING TORQUES

Screw the Integrated Measurement Interface Box (IMIB) 100 bar sensor (3) into the special tool 0 496 623 (11 4 310) (2) and hand-tighten.
