Remove lower part of steering column shroud

Preliminary work

Refer to ADJUSTING THE STEERING COLUMN POSITION .
Refer to REMOVING STEERING COLUMN SHROUD UPPER SECTION .

NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

Push the retaining lug (1) to the outside in the direction of the arrow and unclip the steering column shroud lower section (2) downwards in the direction of the arrow.

Tilt steering column shroud lower section in downward direction.
Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1) and (2).

Remove the line (1) from the holder (2).
Feed the line (1) out of the guide (3).

Unclip the gap cover (1) from the steering column shroud lower section (2) (arrows) and remove the steering column shroud lower section (2).
