Install brake booster

- Guide the brake booster (1) into the firewall.
- Install the nuts (1) and tighten.
- Replace nuts.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

| Replace nuts. M8 Retighten 1x on brake booster after 10 min. |
tightening torque | 22 Nm |
- Lock brake pedal (1) in place in the arrow direction with the brake booster.
Ensure that the brake pedal is completely locked with the brake booster!
- Install the check valve (1) in the brake booster in the arrow direction.
- Hook the vacuum line into the holder (2).
- Hook the brake lines (3) into the guides.
- Install the cover (2).
- Insert screws (1) and tighten.
- Install air duct (1).

- Installing the rear right engine compartment cover.
Remove the battery cover .
NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.- Remove the special tool 2 452 007 from the battery.
- Install the cover (2).
- Lock the lock (1).
- Refer to CONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
- Refer to FLUSHING AND VENTING THE REAR AXLE BRAKE CIRCUIT .
- Refer to FLUSHING AND BLEEDING THE FRONT AXLE BRAKE CIRCUIT (BRAKE HIGH) .
