63 12 001 Removing and installing/replacing left headlight

CoupeA/Convertible from 03/2003:
Remove left headlight (xenon headlight). See 63 12 005 Removing and installing/replacing left headlight (xenon headlight)
All others:
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove direction indicator lamp. See 63 13 150 Removing and installing/replacing complete front left or right turn signal lamp
- Remove trim from headlight housing. See Fig 1
NOTE:
Illustration shows air cleaner cover removed for purposes of clarity.
Unlock and disconnect all plug connections on headlight.
Release screws (1) and (2) and lever out headlight towards front.
Installation:
Tighten screws (1) hand-tight only.
Pull headlight fully towards front.
Close hood and adjust headlight to fit.
Open hood and tighten down screws (1).
Install and tighten down screws (2).
Installation:
Adjust headlights. See 63 10 004 Adjusting headlights
