Installing coolant pumps

- Reduce preload as far as possible before disassembly. Relieve component.
- Feed in and install the coolant pump (2).
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Coolant pump to component carrier M6x20 Tightening torque 8 ± 1 Nm - Replace the belt pulley (1).
Parts: Belt pulley
The belt pulley (1) is included in the repair kit,
- Feed in and install the belt pulley (1).
- Replace the bolts (arrows).
Parts: Screws
The screws (arrows) are included in the repair kit.
- Hand-tighten the screws (arrows).
- Using standard tools, increase the preload on the belt tensioner (1) in the arrow direction .
- Secure the belt tensioner with the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390)
