Remove steering wheel

- Before working on the airbag, disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When releasing the screw, have a support person counter-hold the steering wheel in order to reduce torque on the steering column.

- Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1) and (2) .
- Loosen screw (3) .
- Move wheels and the steering wheel into the straight-ahead driving position.
- Pull down the steering wheel and remove.
