Installing windshield
- Installing the left and right water guide element
- Check the water guide element (1) on the left and right for damage and replace if necessary
Do not mix up the left and right water pipe element
- Clean the bonding surface with cleaning agentCONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324 - Detach the liner (2) from the water guide element
(1) and position on the windshield (3)
- Position the water guide element (1) on the mark
(2) and press firmly
NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side - Prepare the glue cartridge with the standard nozzle C
- Apply an adhesive bead within the marks (1) on the windshield
- Carefully feed in the windshield with the special tool 0 492 609 (51 3 010) between the hood and the windshield panel
- Fit the windshield at top
- Evenly align the windshield at left and right
- Fit the windshield at the bottom and press
- Press the windshield upward until the rubber frame of the windshield evenly makes contact with the roof
- Secure the windshield in this installation position with the two types of yellow plastic adhesive tape (1)TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
