If installed: Installing the front radar sensor (FRS) with the bracket

NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Hook front radar sensor (FRS) with holder (2) in the lug (3).
- Position holder (2) at the mark made during removal.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Front radar sensor (FRS) holder/(FRSF) to support Combination oval-head machine screw tightening torque 8 Nm - Clip in vehicle wiring harness with the holder (2).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
Check
- Check lugs (1) on cover (2) for damage.
Result
» Tabs (2) are damaged.
Measure
- Replace cover.
- Position cover (1) and clip into the detents (2).

NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
If there is a "Sensor misadjusted" fault memory entry" and a correct sensor alignment using the adjustment screw is not possible, there is a suspicion of front impact damage.
In this case, the vehicle must be carefully inspected for damage. If necessary, damaged parts must be replaced. Then adjust the ACC sensor again.
A damaged/bent holder indicates a mechanical misuse of the vehicle and will not be considered to be a warranty case.
