Installing the seat cover for the front seat

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Place the seat cover (2) on the cushion.
Secure all trim wires (1) with the clamps.

Replace clamps (2).
Parts: Clamps
Insert clamps (2) using special tool 0 492 668 (52 0 050) .
Clasp the trim wire (3) of the cushion (1) and the trim wire (4) of the upholstery material with clamps (2).
Carefully bend the clamp (2) shut.

Position the trim wire in the tacking channel (1).
Position the rubber band (2).

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
During the installation of the insert duct, the wires of the seat heating and supply line must not be damaged by the clamps.
Replace clamps (2).
Parts: Clamps
Insert clamps (2) using special tool 0 492 668 (52 0 050) .
Clasp the trim wire (3) of the cushion (1) and the trim wire (4) of the upholstery material with clamps (2).
Carefully bend the clamp (2) shut.
