Installing the wiring harness section for sensor system 5-8
Wiring harness section for sensor system of cylinders 5 to -8
- Feed in and position the wiring harness section of sensor system 5-8.
- Position the grounding point (2) .
- Tighten down screw (1) .

- Position the wiring harness section of sensor system 5-8 with the holder (2) in a downwards direction in the holder.
- Lock the holder (2) at the lug (3) .
- Clip in the wiring harness in the area (1)

- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Clip in the wiring harness section of the sensor system 5-8 on the holder (2) .
- Clip in the connector (1) in arrow direction.
Installing cover for the right DME control unit
- Guide in and install cover (1) .
- Clip in the wiring harness mounting (1)
.
- Positioning the wiring harness section for sensor system 5-8
- Tighten the screws (3) .

- Unclip the wiring harness integrated power supply module (PDM) in the area (4)
at the lug in arrow direction.
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
- Clip in the connector (2) in arrow direction at the wiring harness section of sensor system 5-8.
- Clip in wiring harness mountings (1) .
- Clip in the wiring harness section of the sensor system 5-8 on the holder in the area (2) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Clip in the wiring harness mountings in the areas (1)
.
- Clip in the wiring harness mounting (1) .
- Connect connectors (2)
and lock.
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
- Clip in the wiring harness mounting in the area (1)

- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Clip in the wiring harness mounting (2)

- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Clip in the wiring harness mounting (2)

- Connect connectors (1)

- Position the intake pipe (2) correctly.
- Tighten screw (1) of the intake pipe (2) .

- Insert intake pipe (2) below the lines (3) and insert in the holder (1) .
- Engage holder (1) .

If the DDE control unit or an injector has been replaced, it will also be necessary to carry out injection quantity compensation. The adjustment value (7-character letter code/number code) for the injection quantity compensation is engraved on each injector.
