Removing the entire cowl cover

Preliminary work 

• Refer to MOVING THE HOOD TO THE SERVICE POSITION .

• Release snap fasteners (1)  of the washer fluid hoses.
• Unlock plug connection (2)  and disconnect.

• Remove cover caps (1)  .
• Release nuts (2)  .

• Release wiper arm (1)  using special tool 0 493 441 (61 6 060) .
• Place the wiper arms on the cowl cover (do not remove them).

• Starting from the side of cowl cover (1)  , release it upwards from the detent on the windshield.
• Release cowl cover (1)  from detents (2)  .
• Remove cowl cover (1)  together with the wiper arms.
