Removing the upper front cross connection

Preliminary work 

• Refer to MOVING THE HOOD TO THE SERVICE POSITION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE UPPER SECTION OF THE CROSS CONNECTION .

• Loosen the expanding rivet (1)  .
• Loosen screws (2)  .

• Release screws (1)  through the recess of the multifunction frame from the front.

• Release screws (1)  and (2)  .
• Guide out and remove cross connection (3)  .
