  • 11 31 071 Check camshaft timing on right side (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Checking the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 1
    • Check the timing of cylinder bank 1
    • Remove the special tools to disconnect the crankshaft
  • 11 31 094 Removing and installing/replacing the left hydraulic chain tensioner (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Slackening the chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
    • Slackening the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
    • Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
    • Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
  • 11 31 095 Removing and installing/replacing the hydraulic chain tensioner on the right (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Slackening the chain tensioner of cylinder bank 1
    • Slackening the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 1
    • Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 1
    • Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 1
  • 11 31 573 Adjusting camshaft timing on left side (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Adjusting cylinder bank 2 timings
  • 11 31 574 Adjusting camshaft timing on right side (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Adjusting the valve timing of cylinder bank 1

    • Removing the intake camshaft for cylinders 7 through 12

    • Removing the exhaust camshaft for cylinders 1 to 6

    • Installing the exhaust camshaft for cylinders 1 to 6
  • 11 31 032 Remove and install/replace the left intake camshaft (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)

    • Installing the intake camshaft for cylinders 7 through 12
  • 11 31 034 Remove and install/replace the right intake camshaft (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Removing the intake camshaft for cylinders 1 through 6
    • Installing the intake camshaft for cylinders 1 through 6
  • 11 31 036 Remove and install/replace the left exhaust camshaft (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Removing the exhaust camshaft for cylinders 7 to 12
    • Installing the exhaust camshaft for cylinders 7 to 12
  • 11 31 038 Remove and install/replace the right exhaust camshaft (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Removing the exhaust camshaft for cylinders 1 to 6
    • Installing the exhaust camshaft for cylinders 1 to 6
  • 11 31 052 Replacing both timing chains (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Removing timing chains for modules 1 to 6
    • Remove the timing chain module 7-12
    • Replacing the bearing journals for the timing chain
    • Remove the sprocket wheel of the timing chain
    • Install the sprocket wheel of the timing chain
    • Install timing chain module 7-12
    • Install the timing chain module 1-6
  • 11 31 070 Check camshaft timing on left side (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Check timing
  • 11 31 071 Check camshaft timing on right side (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Check timing
  • 11 31 094 Removing and installing/replacing the left hydraulic chain tensioner (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Release the chain tensioner
    • Remove the hydraulic chain tensioner
    • Install the hydraulic chain tensioner
  • 11 31 095 Removing and installing/replacing the hydraulic chain tensioner on the right (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Release the chain tensioner
    • Remove the hydraulic chain tensioner
    • Install the hydraulic chain tensioner
  • 11 31 573 Adjusting camshaft timing on left side (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Screw in special tools 11 9 8951 to 6 and 7 to 12
    • Fastening the camshafts with the special tool
  • 11 31 574 Adjusting camshaft timing on right side (M760i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Screw in special tools 11 9 8951 to 6 and 7 to 12
    • Fastening the camshafts with the special tool
