Installing the vacuum pump

- Replace the sealing ring (2) on the vacuum pump (1).

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Always turn the drive flange in clockwise
direction. - Position the drive flange (3) clockwise to the recess (4) on the camshaft.
- Insert the vacuum pump (3) and position.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Vacuum pump to cylinder head M6x25 screw Tightening torque 10 Nm - Tighten down screws (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Vacuum pump to cylinder head M6x25 screw Tightening torque 10 Nm - Position the vacuum line.
- Connect the vacuum line at the closure (1) and lock.
- Position the line (1) and snap-into the clamps (2).

- Installing the rear right engine compartment cover.
Remove the battery cover .
NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.- Remove the special tool 2 452 007 from the battery.
- Install the cover (2).
- Lock the lock (1).
- Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to CONNECTING BATTERY GROUND LEAD .
