51 42 000 Removing and installing (replacing) rear left or right door trim panel

Special tools required: 

• 64 1 020 

When carrying out repair work on trim panels, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Refer to REMOVING ROOF PILLAR TRIM PANEL (B-PILLAR) .

Lever out cover (1) in arrow direction using special tool 64 1 020  and remove.

Unscrew the screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 42 1AZ .

Lever our door trim panel (3) from clips (2).

Installation note: 

Replace faulty clips (2).

Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.

Remove door trim panel-(3).
