- Adhere to the utmost cleanliness.
- Protect components from contamination e.g. by covering.
- Close off line connections with seal plugs.

The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, grease and cleaning agents.

- Clean sealing surface (1)

- Replace the seal (1)
using the special tool 0496 714 (00 9 030)

- Feed in and install the connecting brackets (2) with the heating element at the exhaust turbocharger.
- Tighten down screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Engine ventilation line adapter with heating element on exhaust turbocharger M6x26 screw tightening torque 8 Nm
