Installing the front brake discs
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Brake discs must only be replaced in pairs (per axle).
Fit new brake discs only together with new brake pads.
Brake discs must only be replaced in pairs (per axle).
Fit new brake discs only together with new brake pads.
- Clean contact surface of wheel hub thoroughly and remove any traces of rust if necessary.
Irregularities in the contact surface can cause distortion in the brake disc!
- Mount brake disk (2).
- Position and tighten the screw (1).
- Replace screw.

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONBrake disc to front wheel hub M8
Replace screw.tightening torque 16 Nm
- Fit the brake anchor plate (2) in arrow direction.
- Replace screws.
Parts : Screws
- Insert screws (1) and tighten.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Brake caliper/brake anchor plate at front swivel bearing M12
Replace screw.tightening torque 130 Nm

- Refer to GREASE THE BRAKE PADS, BRAKE ANCHOR PLATE AND BRAKE CALIPER USING BRAKE PAD PASTE (17 INCH BRAKE) .
- Refer to INSTALLING FRONT BRAKE PADS .
- Refer to INSTALLING THE FRONT BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR .
- Refer to INSTALLING THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT WHEELS .
- Refer to COMMISSIONING/BEDDING IN (BRAKE) NEW BRAKE PADS AND BRAKE DISCS .
