Remove the gear from the crankshaft

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Bearing screw to engine block
Bearing screw M10x1.25 Replace the bearing screw. Clean the thread in the engine block with a screw tap.		46 Nm

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Bearing screw to engine block
Bearing screw M8x1.25 Replace the bearing screw. Clean the thread in the engine block with a screw tap.		20 Nm

Clean the thread in the engine block with a screw tap .
Replace the sprocket wheel (3) .
Parts: Camshaft sprocket
Detach the gear (1) using the special tools 0 490 798 (11 2 000) and 0 490 798 (11 2 000) .
Make sure that there are no metal chips or similar contaminants in the area of the chain drive, cleaning if necessary .
