Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Variant with ribbon clamp:
Detach the ribbon clamp (1).
- Version with V ribbon clip:
Unfasten clamp (1).
- Loosen nut (1).
- If fitted:
Unscrew the exhaust temperature sensor (1) and (2) and set it aside.
- Version with dual-branch exhaust system:
Loosen screws (1).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Loosen nut (1).
- Loosen nut (1).
- Version with single-exhaust exhaust system:
Lower, guide out, and remove the exhaust system (1) with the assistance of a second person.
- Version with dual-branch exhaust system:
Lower, guide out, and remove the exhaust system (1) with the assistance of a second person.
