Fit the roof lining

Precondition 

The front seats have been fully adjusted towards the bottom.

The front seat backrests have been fully adjusted towards the rear.

The rear seat backrest is folded down toward the front.

• Install the headlining (1) in the vehicle as shown with two support persons.

• Buckling of the headlining must be avoided. Support the headlining at the front and back  .
• Feed in the headlining (1) on the relative edge protection.
• Clip headlining (1) to the clips (2).

  Make sure that the headlining (1) is correctly positioned on the tailgate seal.

• Clip in the headlining (1) in the area of the dotted line on the sliding/tilting sunroof case and the clamps (3).

• Install the seat belt guide loop (2) and tighten the screw (1) on the D-pillar at left and right.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Seat belt guide loop at the rear to body
  Screw
  	Tightening torque	38 Nm

• Clip headlining to the clips (2).
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

• Connect the connector (1) in the D-pillar (2) area at left and lock.

• Tighten down screws (1).

  Headlining
  Screw 4.8X13
  	tightening torque	3.0 Nm

• Install the cover (1).

• Tighten the screw (1) underneath the rear interior roof light.
