Removing the inner rear door opener

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING REAR DOOR TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE FIBER-OPTIC CONDUCTOR FOR THE DOOR OPENER .

• Carefully drill out or grind down all marked spot-welds (arrows).
• Release the inner cover (1) at detents (2) and remove.
