Installing the wiring harness section for the sensor system of cylinders 1 to 4
- Insert the wiring harness section for the sensor system of cylinders 1 to 4 and position it.
- Secure the wiring harness mounting (2) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect and lock connector (2) on the solenoid valve.
- Connect and lock connector (4) on the oil pressure sensor.
- Connect and lock connector (3) on the oil-level sensor.
- Secure the wiring harness mounting (5) .
- Connect and lock connector (1)
on the crankshaft sensor.
- Tighten the screws (3)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Knock sensor to crankcase M8x30 tightening torque 21.4 Nm - Connect and lock connector (1) of the knock sensor cylinders 1 to 4.
- Secure the wiring harness mounting (2) .
- Connect and lock connector (1) of the exhaust turbocharger.
- Connect and lock connector (2) on the alternator.
- Fix the wiring harness section for the sensor system of cylinders 1 to 4 in the clamps.
- Connect and lock connector (1) on the auxiliary coolant pump.
- Connect and lock connector (2) on the throttle valve cylinders 1 to 4.
- Connect and lock connector (3) on the boost pressure sensor.
- Connect and lock connector (4) on the VANOS solenoid valve on the intake side.
- Connect and lock the connector (5) on the VANOS solenoid valve on the exhaust side.
- Connect and lock connector (6) on the coolant thermostat.
- Connect connectors (7) and lock.
- Connect and lock connector (8)
on the coolant temperature sensor.
- Connect and lock connector of the oxygen sensor before catalytic converter of the cylinder bank (1) .
- Connect and lock connector of tank vent valve (2) .
- Secure the wiring harness mounting (3) .
- Secure the wiring harness mounting (4) .
- Connect and lock the connector of the auxiliary water pump (5)
.
- Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Wiring harness to cylinder head cover M 6x16 screw tightening torque 10 Nm - Connect and lock the connector of the electrical changeover valve of the cylinder bank (1) .
- Connect and lock the connector of the electrical changeover valve of the cylinder bank (2) .
- Connect and lock the connector of the oxygen sensor before catalytic converter of the cylinder bank (1) .
- Clip the wiring harness (4)
of the integrated power supply module (PDM) into the attachment.
- Connect and lock the connector of the high pressure pump (1) .
- Clip in the wiring harness mounting (2) .
- Connect and lock the connector of the exhaust camshaft sensor (3) .
- Connect and lock the connector of intake camshaft sensor (4)
.
- Connect and lock the connector of internal engine pressure sensor (1) .
- Connect and lock the connector of the rail pressure sensor (2)
.
- Connect and lock connector (1) on the DME control unit of cylinders 5 to 8.
- Connect and lock connector (2) of the power distribution module.
- Connect connectors (3) and lock.
- Connect connectors (4)
and lock.
- Fix all cables (1)
on the holder of the DME control unit.
- Guide cover (1)
in the arrow direction and install it in holder (2)
.
- Ensure that locks (1)
engage audibly.
