Remove rear window

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE ROOF SPOILER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE REAR WINDOW FRAMES .
- Refer to REMOVING TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT ON TRUNK LID .
- Refer to REMOVING THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .
- Refer to REMOVING TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE LOWER REAR WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to 3. REMOVING BRAKE LIGHT .
- Disconnect plug connection (1)

- Loosen screws (1) .
- Disconnect plug connection (2) .
- Unclip the cable out of the cable brackets (3)

- Secure cable (1)
to rear window with adhesive tape.
- Tape off body in area of piercing point with fabric adhesive tape.
- Push the thread (1)
with the wire starter through the line threader (2)
along the line from the inside.
- Lay separating cord (1) all the way around the adhesive area of the side window in a clockwise direction.
- Secure anchor suction cup (2) on the rear window as shown.
- Secure separating cord (1) with the knurled screw of the anchor suction cup (2) .
- Disconnect side window with the Spider.NOTE: The separating tool must be repositioned repeatedly to prevent damage on the vehicle and the tool!
