Securing the universal joint on the steering gear
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The universal joint can be mounted only in one position.
The universal joint and the steering gear or the steering shaft are encoded to each other.
The clamping bolt must be positioned in the groove of the steering gear or the steering shaft.

- Clean the screw threads to remove all remnants of screw lock adhesive.
- Slide universal joint (2) onto the steering gear in the arrow direction.
- Replace the clamping bolt (1).

- Tighten down screw (1).
