Removing the pressure sensor on left intake plenum

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.

Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist if the vehicle hoist is handled incorrectly.

- Detach battery terminal from battery pole by carefully shifting to and fro. Do not pry off using a tool.

- Unlock hose support (1).
- Position coolant return line (2) under the hose support (1).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) on the Valvetronic servomotor.
- Unlock the plug connection (2) on the pressure sensor and disconnect it.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unlock the pressure sensor (2) on the retaining tab (3).
- Remove the pressure sensor (2).
