Installing The Lower Section Of Tailgate
NOTE:

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position the lower section of tailgate on the tailgate hinges.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Screw connection, hinge parts Adjustment screw M8 tightening torque
19 NmNOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side. - Position the support (2) on the lower section of tailgate.
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Support on lower section of tailgate or body M8 screw tightening torque
19 Nm - Feed the wiring harness into the trunk lid.
- Mount the rubber grommet (2).
Make sure the installation position of the rubber grommet is correct, (watertightness).
- Fasten vehicle wiring harness at marked locations (arrows).
- Connect plug connections (1).
