Installing tail light onto side panel at right

Install the tail light on the side panel 

• Check seal (1) on the rear light (2) for damage and replace if necessary.

Check 

• Both adjusting elements (1) on the rear light (2) must be in the screwed in position.

Result 

» Adjusting elements (1) are not in the screwed in position.

Measure

• Screw in adjusting elements (1) counterclockwise.

• Connect the connector (1) to the tail light (2).

  The connector must engage audibly.

• Lock the lock (3) in direction of arrow.

• Position rear light (1) on the side panel (2).

• Fold up the sound insulation (1) and start threading the underlying nut.

• Position rear light (1) to the front (arrow).
• Move the contact surfaces (2) of the rear light (1) upwards (arrow) to contact.
• Hold rear light (1) in position.

• Fold up the sound insulation (1) and tighten the underlying nut.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Tail light to side panel
  Nut	tightening torque	3 Nm

• Align the rear light (1) to the connection line (2).
• Tighten down screws (3).

• Position the cover panel of the water channel (1) and clip in arrow direction.
