- All specifications must be observed and complied with.
- When lifting the front subframe, ensure sufficient distance between the steering gear (1) and the output shaft (2).
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position the front axle support (1) to the right and left on the adapter for the front axle support (2).
- Carefully raise the front axle support with the universal jack 0 490 133 (00 2 030) and position on the body.
Fasten front axle support
Securing the front axle support adapter on the front axle support on the right and left
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position the adapter (1) for the front subframe (2) on the front subframe (2).
- Tighten down screws (3).

NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the specified component(s) is/are installed.
- Replace nut (1).

- Insert screw (2).
- Tighten nut (1).

- If necessary, remove the special tool (tensioning strap) 0 496 080 (33 5 206).
- Lower the universal jack 0 490 133 (00 2 030) and place to one side.
