Installing the tailgate trim panel

→ Securing the trunk lid with the special tool 

• Attach the hook of the special tool 2 466 613  at top in the trunk lid (1).
• Attach the second hook at bottom on the lashing eye (2).
• Close the trunk lid approx. 10 cm and tension the special tool 2 466 613  .

• Check the clips (1) tailgate trim panel (2) for damage and replace if necessary.

• Position the tailgate trim panel (2) on the detents (1) and clip it in.

• Tighten the bolts (1) at the tailgate trim panel (2).

Follow-up work 

• Mount rear window frame side both TRIMS .
• Install the top rear window frame TRIM .
• Install both trunk lid COVERS .
• Install the trunk lid LIGHT .
• Install the power tailgate SWITCH .
