Remove rear window

Perform window removal using the "spider".

Preliminary work

Remove the top rear window frame TRIM .
Remove both side rear window frame TRIM PIECES .
Remove rear SPOILER .
Remove the lower part of the REAR SPOILER .
Remove the power tailgate SWITCH .
Remove the trunk lid LIGHT .
Remove both trunk lid COVERS .
Remove tailgate TRIM PANEL .
Remove the rear wiper WIPER ARM .
Remove rear window WIPER MOTOR .

Loosen screws (1).
Disconnect the plug connections (2) and unclip from the cable clips.

Secure cable (1) to rear window with adhesive tape.

Tape off body in area of piercing point with fabric adhesive tape.
Push the thread (1) through the adhesive bead (2) along the line from the inside.
Cut out the rear window with spider.
