Take engine out of installation orientation

Lower the engine by turning the spindle 2 361 506 (00 6 103) until the engine is completely in contact with the engine mounts.

Feed out the special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020) at the special tool 2 459 012 and set aside.
Feed out the special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020) at the engine mounting bracket (1) at the rear and set aside.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
Remove the engine bridge (1) with the help from another person.

Prepare special tool 0 493 751 (11 9150) as shown.

Tighten screw (1) left engine mounting bracket using special tool 0 493 751 (11 9 150) from the bottom.

TIGHTEN TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Engine mount to engine support bracket
M12	Tightening torque	100 Nm

Tighten the screw (1) of the engine mount on the right with a standard tool from the top.

TIGHTEN TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Loosen the screws (1) from the special tool 2 459 012
Guide out and remove the special tool 2 459 012 on the cylinder head.
