Install chain tensioner

• Drain the oil chamber in the chain tensioner when reusing the chain tensioner.
• Place the chain tensioner on a level support, slowly compress in direction of arrow and relieve it.
• Catch and dispose of emerging motor oil.
• Repeat process 2 times.

• Replace the sealing sleeve (1).

• Guide in and install the sealing sleeve (1) on the chain tensioner (2).

• Tighten chain tensioner (2) with commercially available tools (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Chain tensioner to cylinder head
  Chain tensioner	Joining torque	20 Nm
  	Angle of rotation	40°
